When it comes to changing your manifest and online booking systems, you'll likely have questions. We want to make your transition to Burble as simple and easy as possible. Below you will find answers to our customers' most frequently asked questions.

What else does Burble give me?

Quality of life!!!

  1. You can keep an eye on your operation from anywhere that has internet. As I write this FAQ, I just finished talking to a Burble DZO who is thrilled about being able to take a road trip and still keep an eye on their operation.
  2. Less time chasing down mistakes as Burble prevents a lot of them from happening in the first place.
  3. Peace of mind from having a system that keeps an eye on legal and operational requirements like load weight, reserve dates, Medicals, Membership etc. When properly configured, Burble can warn against/stop staff from overlooking many of these operational requirements.

Burble Setup

How long does it take to set up Burble?

It will take a day or two to get initial configuration sorted followed by what is generally about 2 weeks of discovery as you learn all the things Burble can do for you and become more adventurous with your thinking as you discover Burble's power and flexibility.

Is help available?

Burble staff are available to answer all your questions throughout setup and implementation. We can assist you remotely free of charge or, optionally, visit your facility to assist with setup at very reasonable rates.

Is there a limit on support?

There isn't a formal limit on free support as we are highly committed to your satisfaction. We hope that our relationship will be a long term one and the only way to achieve that is to make sure that you are 100% comfortable with our solution. Once configured Burble is exceedingly easy to use so this has never come back to bite us:-)

Is there an initial setup fee?

No. Burble staff are here to assist you with configuring Burble.

Languages

What languages is Burble available in?

The reservation system for your customers is presently available in English, Spanish, Danish, and French. If you have a specific language you need and are willing to translate a file for us we can quickly make that language available for your customers.

We are also working on having Burble's backend available in alternative languages.

Functionality

Do bookings connect with the manifest side of Burble?

Yes. Burble is a full front to back solution. From Reservation to Manifesting to Reporting.

Can I download my data?

Yes. You can download any reports to a spreadsheet.

Is there a limit on the report history?

No. You can get reports for any data period going right back to when you start using Burble.

Does Burble have drag and drop manifesting?

Yes. Adding to a load or switching a load is as simple as dragging a jumper (or jumpers) to the new load.

Is there a limit to the number of admin users/workstations?

No. Burble is cloud based and has no per station fee. You can have as many workstations as you like.

Do I need to back up my data?

No. Burble has infrastructure in place to replicate your data immediately to a separate location. It also has incremental backups being made automatically every day.

Do I need to install software?

You only need a modern web browser to use Burble. We recommend the use of Google Chrome for optimal performance.

Does Burble only work on Macs?

No. You can use PCs running windows or Linux equally well.

What are the hardware requirements?

For desktop computers we recommend a minimum resolution of 1080P which on PCs generally means a 23" monitor and on an imac means the 21" model.

Is there an external display for loads?

Yes. You just need a display that can run a web browser. We recommend the use of a Raspberry PI (small computer) and a 27" (or greater) TV to facilitate this. We are happy to help you with configuration.

Is there an app for sport jumpers?

Yes. We have an app available for Android, iOS (Apple) and Windows based phones. The app allows your sport jumpers to check-in, self manifest, check their transaction history and maintain a full electronic logbook complete with signatures. The name of this app is BurbleMe.

Does the dropzone have control over sport jumpers self manifesting?

Absolutely - you have full control over which loads sport jumpers can access and how many slots are available to them.

Can we sell gift cards through Burble?
Yes. We a have a full gift card store available which you can configure to send customized gift certificates directly to your customers without lifting a hand yourself once configured.

Can customers user their gift cards to reserve online?

Yes.

Does Burble have a checkin process?

Yes. Burble can be configured to check jumper credentials according to your specific requirements.

Does Burble adhere to the Australian Parachute Federation's requirements for a master log?

Yes.

I don’t see my parachute association's membership as an option. Can you add it?

Absolutely. We think we have covered most of them but are happy to add more membership types as required.

Do I have control over items like reserve expiration and waiver expiration dates?

Absolutely. Burble is fully configurable to your dropzones requirements.

Do you integrate with 3rd party options?

Yes. We presently integrate with Smartwaiver ,Google analytics, Adroll, Hubspot, Facebook, Peregrine Video Software wih more currently under development.

Do you have the ability to send SMS/texts to customers?

Yes we do. There is a nominal charge per text however.

Does Burble support group reservations?

One of Burble's major strengths is the encouragement of group reservations to grow through social sharing and ease of use. When your customer makes a reservation they are immediately provided with social sharing options and a link for their friends to join in.

Does Burble support Facebook?

Yes. You can take reservations and sell gift cards directly in Facebook. Let us know if you would like help with configuration.

How easy is it to add Burble Bookings to my website?

Very easy. You simply need to integrate a web link into your existing site. Feel free to contact us for more details/suggestions.

Do you have utilities for 3rd party booking options?

Burble has the ability to create an "Agent" account which will allow a third party to make reservations on your calendar. This means you can easily recruit local hotels and tourist attractions to sell for you and incentives them with a commission structure which you have complete control over.

Is Burble Bookings mobile friendly?

Absolutely. This is a crucial part of any reservation system today with approximately 60% of all online shopping taking place on phones these days. We have worked very hard to make the cleanest simplest reservation system out there that works well on any platform.

Can I integrate analytics with Burble?

Yes. You can Add google analytics and tag manager to the customer booking process so your marketing manager can better understand what is and isn't working for you.

Money

How does the dropzone get paid?

You need to sign up for an internet payment gateway. The money then comes directly from them to you.

Which payment gateways work with Burble?
  • In the US, Burble integrates with Authorize.net, TNBCI, Paypal and Stripe.
  • In Canada Burble integrates with Authorize.net, Paypal and Stripe.
  • In Australia Burble integrates with Securepay, Paypal and Stripe.
  • In the United Kingdom Burble integrates with Authorize.net, Stripe and Paypal.

Stripe and Paypal are available in many other parts of the world as well and we are actively adding other payment gateway options. If you don't see what you need for your region get in touch and we can discuss options.

How can Burble improve my bottom line?
  1. Burble works hard to encourage groups to grow. For most Dropzones Burble only has to get you a couple of extra bookings a month to cover the cost of using the service.
  2. Careful research has led to the clean elegant solution Burble has for its reservation system. The less you overwhelm your customers, the more likely they are to complete their reservation. Burble's reservation system will incerase your conversation rate.
  3. More time for your staff to spend answering questions and converting customers. When 95% of your customers book online without bothering you because it's so easy, that leaves your staff free to focus on provinding amazing customer service to the question askers that call and the few that need help booking.

Yes, there is a nominal charge per text which is charged monthly in arrears. Charges vary depending on country and will be presented to you when you sign up for the service.
